Nano Shrimp Tank: Plant update & photos of the shrimp

Now that the Shrimp have settled in, and are coming out for food I thought Id get some nice shots.

I dropped in one pellet of food, about half the size of a pea. Five or Six Shrimp started crawling out of the plants and all bunched up over it. This is a great sign as it means the Shrimp are healthy!

I added in a load of foreground plants and the tank now looks so much better.

One of the plants being some Anubias, a very common, popular plant, and my LFS (Local Fish Store) had some real nice, thick heavily leafed ones that looked amazing. You could of split them in half and still been satisfied with how bushy they were. The one, I did split in two, and added some to my main tank to fill a gap.

Anubias like to sit in shade, with larger plants towering over them, they’re great foreground plants and offer a lot of coverage for Shrimp to hide within.

These arn’t the best photos I know, i’m still learning.
